Point of You

Nobody asks how the startup is going.

A 90-minute, phone-free evening of games, prompts and paper for five to seven Bengaluru founders. Weekday evenings, ₹1,500.

Request a seat

Your team gets the confident one.

Investors get the deck.

Your cofounder gets the plan.

Home gets the short answer.

Nobody gets the founder.

A desk late at night: a closed laptop, a printed deck and cold chai under one lamp An empty startup office after hours with one lamp still on

What Bengaluru founders told Esha, an hour each, in twenty-six conversations over 2025 and 2026.

How the evening goes

Phones lying face down in a woven basket by the door
A brass sand timer beside folded paper slips and a deck of cream cards
A quick pastel sketch of a face on cream paper, a hand still holding the pastel
Hands reaching for snacks and chai on a lamplit table

Before you arrive

The address comes the day before, with one heads-up: phones go in a basket at the door.

The first half hour

Rapid-fire questions and small games, and a fair amount of laughing. Nobody asks you to share.

The middle

Paper, pastels and a few prompts you answer for yourself. Show what you want, keep what you don't.

The last twenty minutes

Food, chai and music. Most founders leave with one thought about themselves they didn't walk in with.

Try one round

The evening opens with quick questions like these. Answer out loud, fast. Nobody keeps score.

What did you want to be when you were nine?

What tends to come up

You don't pick which. The prompts get there on their own, and you only show what you want to.

A decision you've been ducking.

A conflict you're managing instead of having.

A direction you've quietly stopped believing in.

A version of you you're tired of performing.

Something you've never said out loud.

A weight you haven't found words for yet.

Rules of the table

Nobody says what they're building.

Everyone gets the same small mission: keep your company to yourself until the food arrives.

No pitching.

Nobody at the table is buying, so there's nothing to sell.

No advice.

Nobody tells you what to do, the host included.

No business cards.

First names only. Nobody is collecting contacts tonight.

No investors, no rivals.

Every table is put together by hand. Nobody there funds you, hires from you or competes with you.

It stays at the table.

Nothing is recorded, posted or repeated.

Six rules, the same at every table. Request a seat

Early-stage foundertwo days after the 16 May eveningIndiranagar

The change in me is the way I'm running things confidently.

Early-stage founder, two days after the same evening

Your evocative prompts and exercises made me get to the point myself.

A Shark Tank founder, after the first evening

Your host is a founder too.

Why I built it

I'm Esha. I sat with twenty-six Bengaluru founders for an hour each. Most said the same thing: on stage all day, with nowhere to step off it.

How I host

I host every evening myself and read every request. I'll message you before anything else happens.

Esha Gupta, Mental Runway HQ

Request a seat

Tell Esha who you are. She reads every request and messages you on WhatsApp before anything is booked.

₹1,500 for the evening, paid only after Esha confirms. Dates go out about ten days ahead.

Four short questions on the next page, then you're done.

Questions, answered

Do I need to bring a problem?

No. There's nothing to prepare and nothing to decide beforehand. Turning up curious is enough.

Is this therapy or coaching?

Neither. Nobody diagnoses you and nobody hands you a framework. You play, answer a few prompts, and notice things.

Will it help the business?

Not directly, and it won't pretend to. Founders who came told Esha they left with a clearer head and ran the next week with more confidence.

Who else will be there?

Five to seven founders at a similar stage, all building with intent. Esha puts each table together herself.

When do I pay?

Only after Esha confirms your seat. She sends a payment link, and the address follows once it's paid.

When is the next evening?

Dates go first to people who've requested a seat, so you can plan around them.

Where is it?

A small, quiet room in Bengaluru. Past evenings were in Indiranagar, Koramangala and HSR Layout.
